Evidence-Based Strategies to Create a Culture of Cybercivility in Health Professions Education

Last year marks the beginning of my participation in a wonderful research team that includes Dr. Jennie De Gagne and Jamie Conklin at Duke University School of Nursing.

The first publication from this team examines methods to promote cybercivility and cyberincivility in health professions education. It appears in the October 2016 issue of Nurse Education Today.

What we found is probably no surprise to anyone — there is a lot of room for improvement in health professions education and in healthcare. One key finding is that we need to define the rules of the road on the cyberhighway.
